Fifteen-year-old Grisha Yakunin from St Petersburg, Russia is passionate about computers, loves to hang out with friends, fishing, bowling and going to a shooting range. Unfortunately, due to a severe and advanced cystic fibrosis, he needs oxygen therapy at least 16 hours a day. Without a portable oxygen concentrator which his family cannot afford, Grisha is confined to home or hospital. A volunteer has agreed to take an EverGo Respironics concentrator to Grisha in mid-June if the Help Journal can raise enough money to purchase it by that time. In the US, it costs around $2500, more that 2.5 times cheaper than in Russia. Please, help us raise the necessary funds and give this teen a gift of freedom to go out and enjoy his favourite activities with friends!
